I have been reading peoples blogs that do the what I'm loving Wednesday's so I decided why not so I'm going to join....

1-I'm Loving the new season of Dancing With The Stars. I though that my favorite person on the show this season was going to be Kendra because I love her show on E but little did I know that my favorite would be Kirstie Alley. I loved that she jokes about gaining weight but despite that she has gained weight she can move!

2- I am loving that this past Sunday I officially became a member of Church 29:11. I have been going since last summer but join on Sunday. I am so thankful that God has placed me at a church like 29:11 and for the church family that he has blessed me with.

3- I am loving the show Army Wives. Yeah its sad but I love it and by the show I have decided that I could NEVER be an Army Wife.

4-I am loving my new job. It took a little bit more getting used to waking up everyday and being here by 8:30 but its worth it.

3/25/2011

I have just recently started a new job a new job that I consider to be a "BIG GIRL" job. I call it that because its my first full time have to wake up early and be here from 8-5 everyday of the week. I have had jobs before that I had to be there sometimes early and wouldn't leave till late but never 5 days a week. I really like my new job and I really enjoy the people that I work with I maybe the youngest and have nothing really in common with them but that makes it more fun because when we aren't busy we sit around and talk about alot of different stuff. This week has been kinda slow so I have been spending most of my time on the Internet reading peoples blog my sister who I use to make fun of for reading peoples blogs that she does not even know has rubbed off on me (bpelf.blogspot.com) <-my sisters blog. So I am now addicted to reading blogs about people and their adoption stories. I would love for one day to have children of my own but if I am in a part in my life and my husband wants to after we have had children I would love to adopt a child and give them a chance that they may never have. One of the blogs I have been reading...as of yesterday is http://danielandlyndsie.blogspot.com/ it is an awesome story about a couple Lyndsie and her husband Daniel that can not have kids and they are waiting to get to adopt a baby. The second blog I started reading was http://lisaanne119.blogspot.com/ this is a lady who unlike Daniel and Lyndsie are wanting to adopt Lisa was on the other end, she was the mother who was giving her daughter up for adoption. Yeah it is a little sad to read but its neat to read and see how the baby is now doing and the relationship that Lisa has made with the adoption family. The last "sad" blog I have been reading is http://whenhellomeansgoodbye.blogspot.com/ its a couple who had a child of their own but died shortly after being born. They have already adopted a little boy and they are in the process of their second adoption. I don't only read sad blogs I also found one that I am not so sure how I found it but its a happy one http://www.deeply-in-love.com/ about a couple who are expecting their first child. Yeah I am a little crazy for reading peoples stuff that I don't know but it helps pass the time while I'm not busy.

Thankfulness

*Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. - 1 thessalonians 5:18

For a little of the past 24 hours I have been thinking alot about being Thankful in my situation. It is super hard to be thankful but I have so much in my life to be thankful for. I have an awesome family who love me, a house to live in, a car to drive, amazing friends, a job...I could go on forever about the things that I have to be thankful for. Over the past day I have realized that there is always something to be thankful for even in the hardest of times. I shared this scripture because it doesnt say be thankful for all things it says be thankful in all things and thats what I am having to do right now in my life is to realize that yes we can be thankful for all the things we have but when we get to a hard time in our lives we tend to forget about them. In the most difficult situation you can always find a reason for a thankful heart. I read the phrase today
'I complained because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet'. No matter what the circumstances, I believe that there is always a reason to be thankful. Your situation may never change, but your attitude toward the situation can. With an attitude of thankfulness you can make the most out of a difficult situation.

I have NO idea what title to give this one.....

Its 4:15am and I cant sleep....Today started out good BUT boy did I know that it was going to end in the LAST way I wanted it to. The next couple of weeks maybe even months are going to be super hard. I am at a point now where I thought I had this year figured out has far as what I was going to do this summer, who I was going to be with for longer than just a year, when I was going to start back to school, what I wanted to do...but the big man upstairs(A.K.A God) had a different plan than I had as of like 12am tonight :(. I have been praying ALOT over the past two months about what I needed to do about a certain situation. I felt like I really didn't know what God was telling me to do so I just stuck it out and hoped it would get better and go the way I wanted it to go. At church on Sunday a Friend (TRES) stood up and said that God wasn't a God of time and it hit me on Sunday when he said it but it really came back in my mind tonight...So lately I have been waiting for a certain things...So after my situation tonight and praying for many hours tonight I really learned that my time means nothing that I can want something so bad that it hurts but if its not on God's timing and God's plan for my life it will never work out. I am one of these people that wants to have everything planned out and know whats going to happen but I am learning that I cant always be like that..people change, life goes on. *Call to me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.- jeremiah 33:3 *Each person but be fully convinced in his own mind.-Romans 14:5 *Seek the lord and his strenght; seek his face continually.- 1 chronicles 16:11 *He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.-Psalm 25:9

FOUR....

Life has thrown so many things at me lately good and bad...the first thing life through at me was not going to school this semester at first I was upset with the fact that I would not be attending but it has all worked out and I'm OK with this now. There are times when its hard...when I'm around all of my friends and they are all talking about what they did at school and all the homework they have to get home and do but I have learned to deal with it. The second and the best thing that has happened lately is that I have gotten one of the best opportunity I have ever had...this is to work with Student Life youth camps this summer which will be to travel in a van all around or to stay and work at orange beach. This will be around 10 weeks I will leave around May 22 and return around August 4. This will be one of the hardest but most exciting things I have ever done. I am super scared and super excited about it at the same time. There are many things running through my head...1-I am not the biggest home body but 10 weeks is a long time to be gone, 2-how will this be on my relationship, 3-will I have fun(which I am pretty sure I will have a great time), 4-who will I be staying with for the 10 weeks, 5-will I make friends with the people I will be working with. When I first heard about this I didn't know if I really wanted to do it but the more I thought about it and prayed about it ALOT I started to realize that this is the perfect time in my life to do something like this...I don't have a job that would not let me have a job when I get back, I'm not married or anywhere near getting married, I don't have kids so WHY NOT? I am not for sure doing this yet I have gotten an interview with them on Feb 2(so please be praying for me). But I am at a point in my life where I am ready to see and do what God has in store for me and I could not be more excited to find out what it is...its like when you start something new and you have no idea where it is going but you could not be anymore ready to find out.
